Her working roots come from her background in dance training that has grown interconnected with her long practice of Yoga study along with her somatic studies and research.

She has developed OSSEUS Yoga – Gravity Research, a method of Somatic Awareness that is integrated into the practice of Hatha Yoga. This method allows to recover the structural and functional integrity of the body in an organic way.

For the last twenty years she has been based in Lisbon, where she founded OSSEUS – Association for Somatic Research and Education. There she was able to develop most of her work together with her students. For the last ten years she has been facilitating classes for people with mobility and cognitive difficulties. Liliana is a member of the International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT).

She has recently moved to the Netherlands and is teaching online classes, individual sessions, workshops and teacher trainings. Liliana collaborates with several dance companies and art institutions in Europe and Latin America, her work is oriented to promote social awareness through an investigation into our closest nature, the body.

Workshops
She will offer a Soft Flow in the morning. Where she will integrate the somatic bases of OSSEUS, a somatic approach to yoga. We will explore the natural alignment of the centers of gravity between the main structures (head, ribcage and pelvis) to recover a deep stability and absence of tension. Deep tensions are only released when there is space within us through muscular action, in this space breathing is transformed, gradually bringing a deep mental and emotional balance. A practice of self-inquiry to cultivate mindfulness and understanding of human nature.

In the afternoon she will offer a yin/ restorative workshop.
